Mike Murphey is a native of New Mexico and spent almost thirty years as an award-winning newspaper journalist in the Southwest and Pacific Northwest. He is author of seven award-winning novels recognized by reviewers for their vivid characterization and biting humor. His non-fiction work, We Never Knew Just What It Was… the story of the Chad Mitchell Trio, has also enjoyed critical acclaim. Mike loves, cats, baseball and sailing. He splits his time between Spokane and Phoenix.
