The Priscilla White Award for Poetry celebrates great poetry books with a cash award. It is part of the Mesa Book Festival.
Eligible Qualifying Publishers:
- "Traditional" Publishers
- Independent Publishers
- Hybrid Publishers
- Self-Published Authors
Entry Deadline:
All entries must be received and all entry fees must be paid by September 30, 2023 to be considered eligible for consideration.
Publishing Dates for Eligible Titles:
- Books to be consider must be copyrighted 2022 or 2023.
- Books submitted in a previous year's submission period should not be submitted again.

Future published books (ARCs) will not be considered.
Entry Fees:
$75 for each entry.
Submission Process:
Choose the method of your submission: either Digital+Shipment or Physical+Shipment. Do not do both for the same entry.
Digital+Shipment
You will fill out the Online Submission form, and proceed to make your submission payment via paypal. Following this, you will ship the physical entry copies to Anthology, Inc.
Physical+Shipment
You will print out the "Entry Information Form", fill it out and include it, with payment, in your package that you send us the physical copies to Anthology, Inc.
Considered Formats:
- Entries may be submitted and paperback or hardback books.
- eBooks and Audio Books are not being considered for the 2023 Awards Cycle.
- Books must be at least 75 pages in length
- Books must have an assigned ISBN
Considered Genres:
- This award is for books of original poetry, in English, by one poet.
- There are no restrictions on the style of poetry or subject matter.
Submitting Copies:
You will need to submit three (3) copies of each book that you would like to enter. The books, and all relevant paperwork and payments, should be sent to:
